The Art Appreciation Group meet in the afternoon of the first Tuesday of the month at a member’s home. We may alter meeting dates to suit the groups requirements. The Group only meet between October and April each year.
We are a small mixed ability group who are interested in increasing our knowledge of art so that we can appreciate it more fully.
The programme for each of the Meetings is agreed in advance. Before each meeting we each research the topic and then at the meeting the member will share what they have learnt. The size of the group ensures there is always adequate time for this, as well as some group discussion.
The group is currently at capacity but we are happy to assist anyone wishing to start a second group. You don't need any Art background and It only needs two to three people. We can offer a ready made programme to get you started.
