The Knitting and Crochet Group welcomes those who want to get back into knitting and crochet or wish to learn from scratch.
We are a friendly group who meet in Tiptree. The group is split into two. One meets the 2nd Monday at 2pm, the other the 4th Monday at 2pm.
It is not possible to attend the other group if you happen to miss your group that month.
As a member of the group you can make items for yourself or perhaps donate them to a charity or hospital.
Donations have been made to the NICUs of Colchester Hospital, Coventry Hospital, Birmingham Children's Hospital, Birmingham Women's Hospital, Southend Hospital and Portsmouth Hospital, and knitted toys for Colchester Children's Ward.
We have also sent knitted items to the Ukraine.
